Great job to all of the GMS students who performed in the annual middle school musical this weekend. XANADU was a huge success! What a talented group of kids!
The GMS track team has had a wonderful kick-off to our track season. Records are being broken, ribbons are stacking up, this is exciting stuff!
GMS is proud to offer middle school baseball and softball for the first time this year-these kids are doing amazing things!
Thank you to all of the community members who volunteered their time to help with our 8th grade reality store. The students learned a lot about managing finances in the real world!

This is an update for Friday, January 19th: Greenwood Schools will be e-learning. Schools will be closed due to the continued snowfall. Thank you for your understanding in this difficult weather situation.
Greenwood Schools will be on a 2-hour delay for Friday, January 19th. Buses will be arriving 2 hours later than normal.
Greenwood Community Schools will be on a 2-hour delay on Wednesday, January 17th. There will be no early dismissal due to the delay. This means school will end at the same time as it does on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Buses will arrive 2-hours later than normal.

Congratulations to our robotics teams across the district! Northeast and GMS each made it to the semi-state competition round. On December 16th, our high school team won the Think Award; this means their engineering portfolio was outstanding and one of the best at the competition. The middle school team held their ground in the top five all day at the same competition event.
