Since 2006, he has served as the Science Department Head at GHS, imparting knowledge in Chemistry and Physics for over 25 years. He has served as the co-sponsor for after-school clubs, including the team that represented the school in the Boiler Tech Challenge this spring. Additionally, Mr. Perry's leadership has propelled the Science Academic Team to become state finalists, showcasing his ability to inspire and guide students towards excellence.

Recognizing his outstanding commitment to education, Mr. Perry was honored with the prestigious Samuel F. Hulbert Outstanding Teacher Award from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
